They set the building blocks in the first movie that Peach is likely Rosalina’s relative. That alone changes Rosalina’s perspective as far as what she finds family to be.

This mission feels the most like a Super Mario 64 level. Very little gravity shenanigans, just power-ups and pure platforming while rising to the top. It feels a bit out of place in this game.

Hot take: Gusty Garden Galaxy is carried a lot by the song. The level itself does some nifty things, but it's not the highlight of the game.

Stuff like this still surprises me, 18 years later.

You have to fight Bouldergeist twice as Mario, twice as Luigi, and twice in Super Mario Galaxy 2. I get the impression that EAD Tokyo reaaaaaally loves Bouldergeist. It's a cool design, but I wouldn't say its that original.
