Most of the these stores have same prices as other online stores. So it doesn't make financial sense to have such huge stores with extraordinary rents

Thats why I mentioned those 2 extra points. Put a limit on mortgages and stop businesses from buying homes for investments

Yes that too. But home ownership is a distant dream for many as we speak specially in states like NY and CA. Not many can afford those mortgage payments as they are right now

Funny but I’m all for homeownership for everyone, no matter what it takes. I’ve seen how much renters suffer while prices keep going up making the rich more richer. Everyone deserves a place to call home.

And what about businesses and multi-millionaires buying dozens of homes just to rent them out at absurd prices every year? They manipulate the market and exploit renters. Owning a home, even with a long mortgage is still better than being at their mercy
