It is possible that the idea that media shouldn’t platform Nazis is outdated. With so many off-brand ways to gain fame and legitimacy, the media wouldn’t be publicizing their views so much as asking for a defense of those views. That is, of course, if they do their jobs and fact check.

Update (boooo!):
That didn't last long.

"A few hours later, Hilton followed up with an updated statement, saying 'We have been in direct contact with the hotel, and they have apologized for the actions of their team, which was not in keeping with their policies...'"
Hilton Hotel That Refused DHS Reservations Backpedals
The hotel told 404 Media in a statement “We are in touch with the impacted guests to ensure they are accommodated.”

Democrats have not covered themselves in glory here, either. Schumer, Clinton, Hoyer, Schiff, Kerry, Obama - all failed to live up to peace-promoting ideals in office. Most Democrats are guilty of failing to hold people, the DoD, or companies accountable for war crimes and wasteful spending.

Over and over again, we have seen the Democrats fail to make this obvious case to the electorate. It helps, of course, if those Democrats aren't in the pocket of the aggressor, as Dubya didn't get nearly enough resistance to his Iraq fuckup. Not much has changed in the ensuing years.

Americans from AI data centers or companies finding legal loopholes for price gouging? Maybe they could publicize the problems with the military industrial complex and government spying, including raising support for state regulation of Palantir, Microsoft, Meta, OpenAI, etc. 3/3

They could actually just stop making cowardly “statements“ and instead think about the purpose of the Dem Party. What values does it actually stand for? What won’t it compromise on? Is there any marginalized group they won’t sacrifice for corporate donors? Any legislation to propose to protect 2/3

There are other ways to have an effect beyond making or repealing laws. They could be out in their communities, raising funds for charities that support people who have lost their jobs or who are struggling to pay for groceries. They could be helping to campaign for new, progressive voices. 1/3
