the future of Reload

Hi Reload readers,

Over the last couple months I've been going through our Issue 3 articles and I am nearing completion of the posting of those articles. I promise I have not forgotten - I have just been having a tough time getting articles out in a timely manner because several factors, mostly my full time job. I am doing my best to organise everything and I will try to sit down this weekend, get everything scheduled and out. I will also be sure to update our Steam Curator list to reflect Issue 3.

However, I don't want to sugarcoat things. This has been a massive undertaking and while I love, love, love Reload and what the mission has and always will be, I cannot promise I will be as present as I was. I will still do my best to retweet the cool things you make, I'll still do the dev threads as long as you want me to do them. But I can't promise articles, I don't have the time nor resources to play & cover the volume that Reload once had. It's been tough going this alone, I can't lie.

I heavily encourage you all to support other great mags like Fearzine, Debug, etc. - they love indies as much as Reload does and are actively working hard to keep up with your awesome escapades.

As always, thank you. I have loved experiencing the works you have created, and your feedback and support means the world.

Just like in Doom and Wolfenstein, you can see the main character's face during gameplay in #Val'tyFPS.
She reacts to what's happening, which is one of the old tricks I use to give her personality.

And yes, she ate those larvae to restore her health. Valty's diet includes a high level of protein.

big gothic castle in quake from last year. didn't make it for any other reason than I was using it to make new textures and enjoying myself.
