For the song, I've been looking at 2 medieval Dutch songs. Once I've chosen, I'll need to make the melody work for my voice and limited guitar skills, likely edit the text, possibly translate it to English. I'll choose making the song my own over fidelity to the source.

This is awesome, Jay! Drum reminds me of (not doom) My Dying Bride. That bass line is so phat that it almost crumbles! And then the whole thing slows down to absolute sludge!
