It might be a legislation thing in other countries that have banned kids from social media (a Stupid move), and perhaps a few states in the U.S. (thinking of Mississippi), but otherwise there's nothing that would require this for EVERYONE except laziness and greed.

Once I started paying attention to my county Election Commission I realized how messed up things are. A team of people, with very little training, who look at contested ballots and get to decide whether the votes of that person count? If no, in MY county, the ballot gets tossed and they never know.

Also, I wish I knew where this "they're going to cancel the election!" news was coming from. Who is "they"? Which elections are they canceling? Our elections are not one thing. Our elections are hundreds of thousands of moving parts, and the Republicans are still running their elections as normal.
