Mastodon does not have support for primary/replica configuration. If you want a replica (for example to have a live backup), you can configure it with `replicaof` while still pointing Mastodon to the primary, and it will all work.

Il y a plein d’usages intrigants avec les intelligences artificielles génératives, surtout dans le monde de la domotique. Mais partir d’une photo envoyée par la caméra d’une sonnette pour générer une image hideuse et l’associer à une notification, là je ne comprends vraiment pas l’idée. Don’t use use a third party “metrics” or advertising stack in your application. Ever. The data gathered by such stacks is being sold, and among the buyers are fascists.

@paul We have some things planned to help with this, like the ability to subscribe to an account over email, without a Fediverse account. I hope this will help make the case for Mastodon to become a public communication tool that can be used by any citizen, not only Fediverse users.

@mike We are indeed focusing on orgs who want to own the platform they use for public outreach, not more marketing-inclined orgs. And we are also working on several features that should help those orgs (partially funded by an NGI/NLNet grant: https://nlnet.nl/project/Mastodon-for-institutions/)
