Elon Musk’s ‘efficiency’ plan isn’t about cutting waste—it’s about cutting oversight and handing government jobs to private companies (many of them his own) at a premium. Less accountability, higher costs, and a whole lot of corporate welfare. #Doge

LA GOP senator Bill Cassidy slammed the state’s anti-vaccine stance, calling it a ‘disservice’ to parents—right after backing anti-vax champion RFK Jr. as health secretary. Because nothing says ‘pro-science’ like voting for a conspiracy theorist & then being shocked by anti-vaccine policies.

Again and again, these GOP senators are choosing to remain silent or outright enable the shredding of our Constitution and dismantling of our government because they care more about the billionaires who will benefit than they do about us.

And all of these senators are facing re-election next year.

Rather than trying to keep Elon out, pre-empt him so he cant miss characterize spending.

JFC! We’ve got a teenager with full access to the State Department’s data—one who joked about wiping servers after getting fired for leaking a security firm’s info to a competitor.

NEW: DOJ files a notice of correction indicating that (1) it underestimated the number of USAID employees placed on leave; and (2) misstated that only future contracts were being frozen, when existing contracts were frozen as well.

I suspect the judge will not be happy.

It’s surprising how few people know that some of the first groups targeted by the Nazis were gay & transgender people. The pink triangle, now a symbol of LGBTQ+ resilience, was originally used to mark them in concentration camps. History matters—let’s not forget.
This is how the Nazi pink triangle became a defiant symbol of LGBTQ+ rights
On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz we take a look at the history of the Nazi pink triangle, used to identify gay men.
