Spent my Sunday cataloguing all of the unfamiliar plants in my garden, in between marking essays.
Staying in Joburg and having access to a garden again after MANY years is an incredible privilege. I’ll never tire of it! #peace #garden #johannesburg #southafrica #nature #mindful

Grading exams feels like cosmic payback for never getting “write out 100 times” punishments in school.
Except now, I am writing out 1000 times, I can’t use 10 pens at a time, and the sentences get longer every year. Cries in red ink. #AcademicKarma #MarkingMadness

It’s been a tumultuous year. So many layers of grief, anxiety, depression and fear worn daily. Doodling or scribbling at night carried me through so much. Hope to share some more on here. 🖤
