Today, 250.000 people took to the streets of Amsterdam to protest Israel's genocidal violence in Gaza and the cowardly response by the Dutch government. It followed on two earlier protests, one with 150.000 protesters, and the first one with about 100.000. By Dutch standards, these are huge numbers.

Zeker, maar relatieve positie en daling zijn heel verschillende dingen. Waarom dan opschrijven dat "Nederland flink is gedaald?" En trouwens, of we ons nou echt zo'n zorgen moeten maken dat landen als Sierra Leone, Trinidad & Tobago, en Vanuatu boven ons staan... het zegt wel iets over die ranglijst

Executive orders signed, days since start Presidential term, USA, post-WWII.
Graph with count of signed executive orders per presidential term as function of days in office, for presidents since Eisenhower. Lowest line is GW Bush 2 ending at 118. Highest so far is Carter with 320. But the current term for Trump (only 249 days so far) jumps out because of the steep upward curve to now already 207.
