A dream come true since finding out that there’s a REN station 6 months ago

Unfortunately I have no business getting off the train in Indiana

Like most human drivers, Zoox thinks it’s okay to creep up on an elderly person crossing the street because of its god-given right to turn on a red.

No matter what tech bros tell you, Waymo is an attack on public transit. The reason they deny this fact, rather than admitting that they just don’t care, is because the median voter cares a lot more about the bus than a driverless car.

There was a dog sweater in limited supply a few years back, I’ve seen some people use the train plushie as a dog toy too. You should contact customer services and if it’s in high enough demand I’m sure they’ll look into bringing the sweater or something like it back

275 kids and parents just went on a perfect family bike ride through Berkeley, and never once worried about their safety.

Why? Their neighbors organized, and put on a safe, cheerful Kidical Mass. This is the most rewarding stuff I’ll ever do. I think we have more fun than the kids.

SEPTA is broke, broken, and on fire. Yet it’s doing SO MUCH more than better-situated agencies to improve the customer experience.

They just announced these measures to ease trolley bustitution:

San Franciscans making me incredibly proud by crowding away from the doors of the bus

Watch to the end of part 1 to see what sorcery Jay and I sent Miles and Jackson as punishment for making us miss the train!

(Just kidding, this was not their fault and we saw them a few weeks later!)

Two thoughts from yesterday’s Waymo incident:

1. In an already broken traffic violence justice system, driverless cars further obscure responsibility when things go wrong.

2. Riders do share fault with the co. when things happen. Flaws are well-known and in SF, the bus is a viable alternative.

This is a preventable infringement on accessibility.

The City of Berkeley needs to rapidly install bike/scooter parking corrals and penalize Veo for noncompliant parking. We’re pushing the city to act on the Transportation and Infrastructure Commission.
