And Merry's big sister, Clarabel. Big soft Lass, but the terror of all local rodents and amphibians. She was once half of Annie & Clarabel, which Really Useful Literary Scholars will recognise from the works of Awdry. She now deals with Merry's shenanigans instead.

Merry, or Meriadoc Brandybuck, if we're being formal. Big daft lad, and a bit of a thug, but also the most affectionate, cuddliest cat I've ever known.
