It is incumbent upon all of us to speak out against political violence and unequivocally condemn it at every turn. The safety of the public and the sanctity of our democracy depend on it.

I commend her courage for continuing her town hall. She is stalwart and undeterred.

As we honor the six million Jews and millions of others who perished in the Holocaust on the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, Niemöller’s message still resonates.

The silence of good people enables injustice.
