House Judiciary Republicans have held no hearings about the DOJ’s handling of the Epstein files, and today, they’re again leaving DC without getting answers.

They don’t have any questions about it?

I was grateful to sit down with workers from @afscme.bsky.social to hear how recent decisions out of Washington are threatening the programs they rely on.

Our government should work for working families — and that means taking real, concrete steps to protect their lifesaving health care.
repmoskowitz.bsky.social
Florida’s workers don’t get paid for not doing their jobs, so why should members of Congress?

If the government isn’t open, members shouldn’t be paid. As long as the government is shutdown I will be foregoing my paycheck. Let’s find a bipartisan solution and reopen for the American people.

Wishing a blessed and meaningful Yom Kippur to you and your loved ones. May this Day of Atonement bring you clarity, renewal, and peace, and may all who observe be sealed for a good year. G'mar Chatima Tova!

Democrats are at the table to keep the government open and protect lower health care premiums. House Republicans are refusing to do both.

Families can't afford higher costs or a government shutdown.

Shana Tova! Wishing a happy and healthy new year to all those beginning Rosh Hashanah celebrations tonight.

Reminder on today's #NationalAppChallengeDay that we're a little over a month away from the October 30 submission deadline for this year’s Congressional App Challenge.

We look forward to seeing the innovative apps you come up with!

September 11, 2001 was one of the darkest days in our nation’s history. We can #NeverForget what happened that day, the lives we lost, the bravery of law enforcement and first responders, and the sacrifice of the men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our nation.

For more than 75 years, the NATO alliance has been a cornerstone of global security. It's critical it stay that way and we stand with our allies.

As a member of @houseforeign.bsky.social, I'll continue to stand with Poland, defend NATO, and deter Putin's ongoing, unprovoked aggression.

Congressman @repmoskowitz.bsky.social explains why Speaker Johnson should be nervous about the new GOP-led Jan. 6 probe.
repmoskowitz.bsky.social
In their ongoing campaign of distraction, my colleagues across the aisle found a new target: January 6. We won't let their efforts rewrite that dark day.

I look forward to serving on this Judiciary subcommittee that can only be described as a giant waste of time and taxpayer money.

One of the first bills I led in Congress was the FEMA Independence Act, a landmark bill to remove FEMA from DHS and restore it as an independent, Cabinet-level agency reporting directly to the President.

This week, it passed @transportdems.bsky.social as part of the bipartisan FEMA Act of 2025.

Vaccines work. They save lives.

This decision risks wiping away decades-long progress for public health in Florida, and it threatens the wellbeing of kids, seniors, and people with preexisting conditions across our state. It will not make Florida more healthy.

Happy Labor Day! Today we celebrate the hardworking Floridians who power our economy and make this state an incredible place to live. I’ll always have your backs.

It was an honor to join President Hasner and the Florida Atlantic community this week to kick off construction of their Kurt & Marilyn Wallach Holocaust & Jewish Studies Building—a facility that will no doubt continue to build on FAU's world-class education.

I'm horrified by today's tragedy in Minnesota—an unspeakable event that's shattered another community.

From Minneapolis to my hometown of Parkland, our kids and teachers shouldn't have to be afraid to go to school and worship. Congress must work together to keep them safe.

90 years ago, FDR signed Social Security into law, and today, it remains a critical lifeline for more than 160,000 Floridians in my district.

I'll always be committed to protecting Social Security and the vital resources that help our seniors access the benefits they earned.

Summer's officially coming to an end (even if the summer weather hasn't), which means school's back in session. Wishing all of our students and teachers across Broward and Palm Beach Counties a successful start to the year. Welcome back! 📚

Today is the last day for another great group of Moskowitz interns! Zach, Saumil, Idan, and Gabriella have been so much help to our DC office, and Ethan, Ben, Attilio, and Nathan have been doing fantastic work in our Coral Springs office. Thanks to them all!

It’s been 60 years since Medicare and Medicaid were created. Today, millions of Americans rely on these programs, including 90,000 Floridians in my district alone who depend on Medicaid for lifesaving healthcare. I will always vote against any cuts to these critical benefits.

My hometown of Parkland was devastated by gun violence. There’s no good justification for axing programs which law enforcement groups say have helped meaningfully reduce gun-related homicides. This decision is going to make communities less safe.

I’m relieved that after pressure from me and my colleagues, the Administration is releasing these resources for Broward Public Schools. Our public schools rely on them for everything from after-school programs to teacher training, and ending this freeze gets them funds they planned for.
repmoskowitz.bsky.social
Under the Administration’s freeze on public education funding, Broward Public Schools are missing more than $30M in critical education resources.

I’m leading my Broward-area colleagues demanding they release these funds and ensure FL students and teachers have what they need to succeed.

I stopped by the Congressional Hurricane Preparedness & Recovery Symposium this week to talk about the challenges of the 2025 hurricane season and beyond. As the only former emergency manager in Congress, I’m committed to getting hurricane relief to all those in their moment of need.
