It's going to take all of us to #EndHumanTrafficking. Hotel and lodging staff are on the front lines of where these vile crimes occur. I'm incredibly proud that my legislation to train hospitality staff to recognize the signs and report human trafficking has passed the #PaHouse unanimously!

Now more than ever we have to look out for our most vulnerable, so over $40 million to address food insecurity will go a long way.

I'm full of GRATITUDE today that we finally have a #PaBudget! First off, I'm glad that we have a $750,000 increase in human trafficking enforcement & prevention. This aligns with my work in the #PaHouse to #EndHumanTrafficking with increased awareness and training for lodging employees.

The shutdown in DC will disproportionately harm Philly & Delco children, seniors, and working families. SNAP payments will be delayed in November and now LIHEAP will have a late start date on Dec. 3. Reach out to your utility providers for payment options if you have trouble making your bills.
