I wanted to highlight that our Pennsylvania state budget included a 7.1% increase in funding for the public library subsidy. This $5 million total increase will support learning, education initiatives and access to information in communities across PA.

Reminder! The Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program deadline is coming up on December 31, 2025. This program, which is eligible to older adults and people with disabilities 18 years or older, supports homeowners and renters across PA with rebate ranging from $380 to $1,000.

This evening in the PA House, I voted yes to pass HB 1957, The Reproductive Rights Act (Rep. Danielle Friel Otten). The bill passed 102-101 and now heads to the PA Senate for consideration.

I’m pleased to announce that Historic Trappe received a $25,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission as a part of its Cultural and Historical Support Grant Program to 177 eligible museums and official county historical societies.

Applications for the 2025-26 Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) are open until April 10, 2026! LIHEAP provides cash grants to help eligible Pennsylvanians pay their heating bills.

It’s important we respect our flags and flag etiquette, which means retiring and properly disposing tattered or worn flags. You can drop them off at my office at 35 Evansburg Road, Collegeville, PA, and we’ll help dispose of it appropriately!

I had a great time decorating the Christmas tree with residents at Parkhouse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Senator Katie Muth yesterday. It was a wonderful experience hanging ornaments on the tree while listening to festive tunes and celebrating the holiday season together!
