My condolences are with all the families impacted by this heinous, traumatic attack.

We cannot continue to go from one week to the next reeling with grief from the latest tragedy in our communities.

This has always been a crisis of guns. It can only ever end with gun control.

Charlie Kirk’s horrific murder was a tragedy, and anyone who says otherwise has no place in public service.

However, I will not pretend to respect the harmful ideologies he proudly held, nor will I honor a man who built a career out of dishonoring Americans like me.
