Revision for Sawdust Saints is coming along amazingly. Bubbles is a side character that is so fun to write. #amwriting #writingcommunity
Text which reads: “Y’know, boys,” came a rasping, slurred voice, “it’s real rude to point guns at our talent even if they do whoop your ass till the crack turns sideways.” Bubbles the clown stepped out from between the trailers, still half in his smeared makeup, a beat-up hunting rifle slung lazy in his arms. The grin painted on his face made his eyes look harder than they ever had before. The smell of rotgut 'shine held fast to him. His ginger curls were pressed to one side of his face, where Jamie guessed the clown'd been half in the bag already when the fight broke out. The old man raised the barrel and leveled it at Trapper. “Now, why don’t you be the good ole boys I know y'all are and take your drunk asses home?” Trapper froze. For a second, the world held its breath. Then he spat, clumsily holstered the gun in the front of his jeans, and stumbled backward, muttering curses that sounded half like prayers. His friends followed, limping toward the road. Jamie hoped he blew his own dick off. Bubbles kept the rifle trained until they were gone, then finally lowered it. “You good, cowboy?” Jamie nodded once. “Yeah.” Bubbles studied him. “You sure? You look like you just went twelve rounds with your own shadow.” Jamie forced a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. “Guess I did.”

Jamie and Damian have friends. They feel they don't need more friends. So they simply don't make an effort.
Braydon is very personable, much moreso than his dads, so he makes em pretty easily!

My current major WIP that I'm working on is a largely standalone horror called Sawdust Saints! It's a supernatural horror about a recon team sent to investigate the disappearance of a group of livestreamers outside of a notorious theme park in a small town.
