Protect our Trans Community
Text SIGN PIKIAQ to 50409 — I am urging you to sign SB 418, SB 497, and SB 59. One bill allows hormone scripts for a year's supply. The second bill protects medical records from subpoena and doxxing. The third bill would seal trans people's legal name and gender changes, preventing the release of deadnames and other transition details to the public. These bills are of the utmost importance to protecting the trans community in California. Please do the right thing and help them stay safe in our state! Thank you for your attention to these matters.

Protect Federal Workers in the Shutdown — Honor the Law and Pay What’s Owed
Text SIGN PZMTHB to 50409 — I’m asking you to defend the rights of America’s federal workers — men and women who show up every day to keep our nation safe, secure, and functioning — from being denied the back pay they’ve earned during this shutdown.
The Office of Management and Budget is pushing a new “legal theory” that twists the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act of 2019 (GEFTA) to claim that back pay isn’t guaranteed after a shutdown. Under this view, the administration could decide who gets paid and who doesn’t.
That’s not what the law says. Congress passed GEFTA so that no federal employee would lose pay because of political standoffs they have no control over. Every past administration has honored that principle. Now, OMB has quietly deleted prior guidance promising back pay and is preparing to leave thousands of working Americans in the lurch.
President Trump has even suggested that he might “pick and choose” which federal employees get paid. That’s wrong. Paychecks should never depend on who’s in favor or out of favor with any administration. Fairness and loyalty go both ways.
Congress must:
• Reaffirm that the law still guarantees full back pay to all furloughed and excepted employees.
• Add clear language to any funding bill to remove all doubt.
• Demand public hearings to ensure no political interference in workers’ pay.
These are not faceless bureaucrats — they are air traffic controllers, VA nurses, and law enforcement officers. They upheld their oath and did their jobs. Congress must uphold the law and make sure they’re paid what they are owed.

Stop this tyranny & lawlessness. Release the Epstein files & impeach Trump
Text SIGN PEONMZ to 50409 — You swore an oath to the constitution. Not to Donald Trump.
Now it's time to honor your oath.
Turning the military on citizens. -- that's unconstitutional and may be treason.
Attempting to rig elections.
That's what Trump is doing with his efforts to push redistricting and voter suppression.
Toying with the idea of declaring martial law. We hear that.
Attacking political enemies and punishing those who speak out. -- that's unconstitutional. It violates freedom of speech and overturns the rule of law and equal justice.
If this were happening in another country, what would you call it??
It's tyranny. America was founded to escape such abuses perpetrated by King George III.
Protecting pedophiles and pardoning criminals who stormed the Capitol.
YOU ARE A COWARD every day that you tolerate these things.
Your oath to the constitution requires you to impeach Trump and stop this abuse of the constitution.
Impeach Trump.
Release the Epstein files.

Defend our free press
Text SIGN PNTVSO to 50409 — I see that Trump has called for ABC & NBC News to lose their broadcasting rights.
After months of targeting journalists who truthfully report on his administration, Trump is escalating his attacks and threatening like a mob boss, to get independent News outlets taken off the air.
A free, independent press is essential to our democracy, and the U.S. Congress must do everything possible to defend it from Trump’s assault.
Please take action TODAY... File a lawsuit, sponsor a bill, whatever it takes. Please be loud & active like Newsom & Pritzker in calling out this Administration's abuses. Please take action ASAP to defend our free press.
Thank you from your voting constituent.

Impeach Hegseth NOW. He is urging war crimes & illegal acts by our troops
Text SIGN PGKHYC to 50409 — Impeach Hegseth now.
His speech today was dangerous and alarming. He was asking our armed forces to break the law: he encouraged US soldiers to commit war crimes against US citizens on U.S. soil. That would meet the definition of treason, right?
He also urged the military to blindly follow political and illegal orders.
I am appalled. You should be too. His speech was grossly authoritarian, and puts our national security and individual freedom at risk.
How long are you going to tolerate the shredding of the constitution by those who swore to uphold it?
Hegseth needs to be removed now.

Congress Must Prevent an Unlawful Invocation of the Insurrection Act
Text SIGN PWWQZY to 50409 — Reject the Misuse of Emergency Power
Reports suggest that President Trump may invoke the Insurrection Act to deploy federal troops inside the United States. Such a move would almost certainly be pretextual, aimed at suppressing dissent rather than addressing any genuine rebellion or obstruction of the laws. The Insurrection Act was designed for moments when courts and law enforcement cannot function—not as a political weapon against domestic opposition.
Congress Must Act Now
You must speak out publicly before any such declaration is made. Silence will be read as consent. Congress should hold immediate oversight hearings to determine whether conditions legally exist for invocation, demand evidence from the Department of Defense and the Department of Justice, and call senior officials to testify about their role in advising the President.
Reassert Constitutional Limits
Congress should also move swiftly to pass legislation defining the precise circumstances under which the Insurrection Act may be invoked, establishing clear procedures for judicial review, and setting firm limits on its duration. No President should have the unchecked authority to deploy military force against the American people.
Protect Our Democracy
This is a moment for moral clarity. Members of both parties must affirm that the United States military answers to the Constitution—not to any individual. Speaking early and decisively can prevent a constitutional crisis that would do lasting damage to our democracy.

No more partisan lies on Fed Agency websites. No deep fake derision. Do your job
Text SIGN PKOBCL to 50409 — I am appalled by the misuse of taxpayer-funded federal agency communications and websites to spread partisan messages regarding the current government shutdown. This practice, directed by the White House Office of Management and Budget undermines the integrity of our government institutions. It also likely violates federal ethics laws, specifically the Hatch Act.
Multiple agencies, including the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Justice, Small Business Administration, and Department of Veterans Affairs, have added partisan language to their official platforms, blaming "Congressional Democrats" and the "Radical Left" for blocking funding. This unprecedented move deviates significantly from the neutral stance traditionally maintained by federal agencies during shutdowns.
The Hatch Act explicitly prohibits federal employees from engaging in partisan political activity while on duty. By using official government channels to disseminate politically charged messages, the current administration is potentially breaching an ethical safeguard.
It is a misuse of public resources.
It erodes public trust and places federal workers in an inappropriate position.
The White House's threat to fire certain federal workers during the shutdown, rather than following the standard furlough procedure shows contempt for their livelihoods and our
Institutions.
I urge you to take immediate action to address this issue. Please investigate the potential Hatch Act violations in agency communications, demand the immediate removal of partisan language from all federal agency websites and communications, ensure that neutral, factual information is provided to the public regarding the government shutdown, and protect federal workers from unjust termination threats related to the shutdown. Our government's credibility and the principles of ethical public service are at stake.
Let me add that federal funds should not be used to make deep fake videos of our elected politicians. Never ever: not wearing sombreros not doing anything else.
This is a partisan, childish, misuse of federal funds that shows Contempt for the gravity and responsibility of the elected office.

End State Terror on American Soil
Text SIGN POWMAS to 50409 — Last week’s midnight raid in Chicago—where heavily armed federal agents stormed an apartment building, zip-tied citizens, and separated children from their parents—marks a turning point in the erosion of American liberty. What happened there is not policing, and it’s not patriotism. It is state terror on U.S. soil.
Reports confirm that citizens were detained without warrants, homes were ransacked, and families terrorized under the pretext of targeting a foreign gang. This same pattern has been repeated nationwide—Americans detained, assaulted, and even hospitalized by ICE and Border Patrol despite clear proof of citizenship. Now, with the Supreme Court allowing agents to detain people based solely on their appearance or language, the constitutional guarantees of the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments hang by a thread.
The same Department now circulating white-supremacist memes in official recruitment videos is the one breaking down citizens’ doors in the middle of the night. DHS’s own social media has embraced imagery tied to racist extremism—mocking the people it targets and feeding an ideology that glorifies persecution. When federal agencies echo the symbols and language of hate, they are no longer protecting the homeland—they are redefining it.
These actions betray every conservative principle of limited government and individual liberty. No federal agency should ever have the power to break into a citizen’s home without cause, deny access to counsel, or operate above the law. If we truly stand for freedom, then our government must be bound by the Constitution—not by fear or ideology.
I urge Congress to launch immediate oversight hearings into DHS and ICE operations, demand full public accounting for the Chicago raid and others like it, and suspend funding for any agency that refuses to abide by due process. Defending America means defending Americans.

Keep and strengthen EPA protections
Text SIGN PLZZHI to 50409 — The Environmental Protection Agency's role is crucial in safeguarding our environment and public health. Repealing critical regulations on air and water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and environmental protections for vulnerable communities would severely undermine these fundamental responsibilities. We must prioritize protecting our natural resources and the well-being of all citizens over short-term economic gains. Dismantling decades of progress is unacceptable and runs counter to the EPA's founding mission. Stringent enforcement of environmental regulations is essential to ensuring a sustainable future and mitigating the severe consequences of unchecked pollution and climate change. I urge you to maintain and strengthen existing EPA rules to fulfill the agency's core mandate of environmental stewardship.
