The hot food restriction makes sense to me most of the time, except for like, Costco chickens. Some places you can apply to have that restriction lifted! But yeah, it's a bit wild.

The big one that people talk about so much in the states, which is SNAP, is ~$300/person/month, that scales down for a larger household. That's practically nothing!

It becomes a problem when the house was purchased at a lower number, paid off, and then re-evaluated. I don't really have an opinion on inheritance taxes in general, but in this case it becomes a method for the state to recover paid off properties, and is generally only going to hurt people.

I think this is maybe too evil; there's situations where you want to do conversions (especially if you're using third party tools), but I think doing any kind of type conversion in a function call is a Bad Time.
