haven't done much these past few months, but i return with some quick "Rama" from Arthur C. Clarke's novel.
even though its described specifically to be featureless, ignoring that has to be number one rule for making your own version

If I could properly make the drive plumes it *would* make a very cool chandelier, like @retrovisorrr.bsky.social 's art that formed most of the basis for the model

I spent hours trying to figure out how to create star-planet binaries (those produced by large planets, like jupiter) in space engine, with the help of universe sandbox. wasn't hard since its basically numbers you can copy and paste, but this was in my backlog for almost a decade, which is wow wtf
