I have a dog that is quite vocal when she wants something.The problem is that I dont speak “Billie.” Sometimes I have to send videos to my spouse at work to say “Why is Billie crying?” This morning it was because her blanket wasn’t in the right spot, and she needed it adjusted to take her nap. 🤦🏻

Pretty much always up for nonsense.
Sort of out of the blue this weekend I was gifted two new stoles: a parishioner thought I needed something colorful to wear for my speech at the local pride festival, and the other was made by a friend who is getting into making vestments (because his husband is a priest). I’m so impressed by both!

When my wife said “this year Jesus is found in the White House” I thought she was having a stroke. Turns out she was just reading a sign.

Days before my evaluation I was asked by my parents to stop coming to family events, lest my relationship with my (now) wife “confused my nieces.” I was honest about it with the therapist. In my eval she referred to me as “remarkably well adjusted, considering.” I pray it goes similarly for you.

Last night I had a moment of panic running around my house trying to find my mysteriously missing, elderly 70-pound dog. Did he slip out? Was he stuck somewhere? Did I leave him out in the rain?
No. He was just busy being extra cozy, and couldn’t hear me frantically calling him. 💛

I have a couple of part-time ministry jobs right now,
so I’m using actual hours versus blocks (and I office at home). I offer that series of caveats to say that I use TimeFlip, and I have it set up to differentiate between which entity I’m working for and also the type of task I am working on.
