I recently vibe-coded scripts to consolidate ~15 years of of IM conversations into an organized, searchable database. (We're talking AIM, Yahoo, Skype, Gchat, and Facebook Messenger covering 2006-2020, plus a smattering of 2002-2004 AIM snippets.) The real question: what do I do with it now?

Finally played through Amnesia: The Dark Descent after a decade on the digital shelf. I was initially surprised at the low percentages for basic plot progression achievements; the first one is a mere 18.5% and the last one (before endgame) is 8.5%. I guess everybody else procrastinated too.

While waiting for our train to reach Union Station, the woman next to me asked, unprompted, how I felt about D.C.'s militarization. We then spent a good 10-15 minutes just recounting/lamenting 2025's numerous indignities together. (I generally don't converse with strangers; this was refreshing.)

I've dressed up as Disco Elysium's protagonist for three Cons now. Each time I've only gotten a couple acknowledgements, but all were along the lines of "Are you Harry du Bois? Thats incredible! Did you ever find your gun, you alcoholic schizophrenic, you fuckin legend?" A passionate fan base. #sdcc
