The democrats basically said “the people can suffer for another year so we can win congress next year”. That’s the same thought process this administration had asking the courts to withhold SNAP funding, just not as loud.

Due to the shutdown and the unfortunate monetary issues SNAP is having, it might be worth going to the grocery store for some donate-able food and dropping it off at your local food bank. I know times are tight but even $5 worth of food could help a starving child.

SNAP won’t be funded by the end of the month but priorities are a new ballroom so he can serve McDonald’s to his guests
