Damn. I’ve been screaming into the wind for years about this approach. All of the talent and the will is there, but archaic bureaucracy and power wrangling shuts it down, every time. I’ll be following across the country from NYC. Sending blessings you make this happen.

This song, and the passion of Rick Danko’s singing of it, always brings me to tears. He was a pure vessel channeling the muse. I adore The Band. Utter masters.

How quickly most forget. I’m 61. In my Freshman high school class, still so near Vietnam & Nixon fallout, we explored this at length, in social studies. When Reagan came in, I suspect the whitewashing/purging began. I know that my ‘97 born daughter would not know any of this had I not taught her.

This has been a constant for decades. Thinking of the Soviet Union, and remembering that Putin was part of that focus, former KGB/counterintelligence.
