I recall Paul Martin claiming it was never "on the air" because it was on the Internet instead of television. They backed away eventually but that initial claim didn't help.

Such a great venue, so much history. I spent a lot of my twenties there. The first show I saw there was Danko Jones, the last was Change Of Heart. The building was unsafe by the end, but it's still a shame that it got to such a point.

Arguably true, granted. I recall the movie's plot being described in reference to the "collapse" of the Soviet Union and the difficulty many on both sides had with reconciling the new relationship and accepting peace. A very hopeful take, in line with the optimism of the time. Star Trek at its best.
