BTW, I'm the S(WA)C who got Jay that copy of Privilege way back when (he later gave me an original still from the movie with a STEVE WE LOVE YOU banner in it). I also supplied a bootleg Kinks video compilation that partially inspired The Lines You Amend video.

Sunday morning listening with my first coffee in Halifax, loving this! And it's kind of full circle, I can still remember Jay telling me years ago, "Have you heard this band Guided By Voices? I think you'd really like them!" He was not wrong.
