Same. Loved him during the campaign but he’s very clearly not a wartime governor.

Our only other non-violent option that will really hit em where it hurts is a general strike. Which, while I fully support one, I just don’t see it happening. Too many people fear losing their jobs and therefore healthcare for it to reach the numbers where it’s truly impactful.

Eh hard disagree. The snap was sick and there was definitely an interesting way to deal with it post-Endgame. They just wanted to move past it as fast as possible for some reason and completely fumbled the opportunity.

Fuck New Years resolutions. You can resolve to do anything any time. January 3 is just as good as January 1.

I've heard that Doomsday will essentially be a sequel to Endgame, which in many ways I think is smart, but man oh man do I wish they had just removed the cruft (remember Moon Knight?) and led up to it much more organically by around 2023 or so.

Yes I know Covid didn't help but whatever.

Also, the all-encompassing nature of the multiverse was a massive mistake. Endgame really had a certain discipline in its approach to it and time travel, which impressed me, and then they threw that discipline out the window entirely afterwards.

Like I know that both character/plot consequences happened, but it was too unfocused. We forget that casual audiences were already having trouble keeping up during the Infinity Saga. Good character work and the relative lack of time between big event movies helped curb that and glue it all together.

Another strength of the Infinity Sage is just how good the character work was.

It's easy to place backseat driver/hindsight is 20/20, etc, but IMO 100% of the events after Endgame should have dealt with *only* the results and consequences of Endgame -- on a *character* level, not just *plot* level.
