Remember how folks were saying we'd pay a subscription to keep this place ad free? Trust is much easier to break than to build, it's a fragile, ephemeral thing that requires good faith to maintain, and Bluesky has breached that trust so thoroughly it'll be hard to ever get back.

The sad thing about the owners' contempt towards the userbase is that Bluesky is genuinely a far better Twitter alternative, from a user experience the lack of an algorithm that only seemed to push conflict and suppress people I was following is a staggering difference. You got a good thing here!
