Going through the Epidemic Neuromyasthenia Group minutes last night something jumped out at me. Melvin Ramsay may have made a video about #myalgicencephalomyelitis as far back as 1977. Video technology would have been in its relative infancy and would not have been cheap.

The research used to claim reliability of a ME/CFS blood test has important limitations, shown here.

www.theguardian.com/society/2025...
Three possible confounders in a study proposing an ME/CFS blood test : sex/age, batch and inactivity/severity. Better designed studies by independent researchers are necessary.

Since developing Long COVID, Armani Guerra has battled debilitating symptoms, even as he applied for and began his MBA at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Now, he is organizing the first-ever IACC Case Competition. bit.ly/46Bv0iy
A black and white photo of Armani Guerra wearing a suit and tie. Behind him is a blue-ish tinted photo of the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business with yellow business doodles on top of it. The text reads, “The Sick Times. Long COVID inspired me to start an IACC case competition at my business school. Here’s how you can get involved. By Armani Guerra.” I set out to recruit fellow MBA candidates at my business school to develop the first international case competition focused on IACCs like Long COVID, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), and more. A task I initially thought would be difficult proved easy, as my peers empathized with my story and saw the daily toll this illness had on me, when I barely made it to class each day.

Just back a page, SMcF says, "She still lives with those symptoms, although better managed but only because we've accessed private care."

...because there is no NHS care.

Did Hallett fail to understand that?

#LongCovid

No-one should be having to access private care!

Scientists Finally Reveal Biological Basis of Long COVID Brain Fog.

Patients with brain fog may have disrupted AMPA receptor (AMPAR) expression—key molecules for memory and learning. Imaging of Long COVID patients showed elevated AMPAR density tied to more severe cognitive impairment.

🚸 Safety - gov did not recognise airborne transmission
🚸 Flexibility
🚸 Politicisation of masks - that has led to stigma & even safeguarding
