It's an uneven film, but The Black Hole contains haunting scenes which every 80s child remembers. It's so unscientific, it might qualify as science fantasy.

This is one of the best BBC Micro ones, Citadel. I spent hours exploring it. 8 colour, 160 x 256. No limits as to where you use colour.

Ah sorry, I misread that. Those are two different games in the series.
Quite often, an Amstrad version would have much the same graphics as a Spectrum version, but without the colour clash. Try to imagine this, but in shades of green.

At first, you think it's making fun of Star Wars (1977) and Alien (1979), and then you realise that it was released in 1974 and therefore influenced the look of those movies. Admittedly, 2001 (1968) had already been released by then which obviously provided some inspiration.

Oooh. A slightly coincidental pairing of posts on the feed. I did start to wonder if X was doing them deliberately as a ploy of some kind.

Yeah. I had to buy a top shelf 'girly mag' at the newsagent and then put it around Amiga Shopper in those days.

Unless I've made a mistake - On the current version of my script there seems to be an inverse relationship between hours of sunshine and sleep lengths on my five year plot.

Sleeping patterns? Now we're getting into my territory as I've been using Python/Matplotlib to explore my sleeping patterns as I have what's called a circadian rhythm disorder (25.7 hour days). Here's sleep (from app), sleep on a 25.7 hour day and jogging (from spreadsheet).

A week of no computer programming now because of work commitments. I have a rare disorder and I've been learning data science programming in Python to analyse it. I started when I was 6, and programming is still my happy place. #circadianrhythmdisorder #python #matplotlib #non24
