Had a great weekend with @gretegans.bsky.social exploring rural #Wyoming and driving through Niobrara County 🇺🇸🐎The vast open spaces, small villages, the harsh weather, endless cargo trains, and oil fields reminded me of many of the issues we face in the #Arctic too. @infranortherc.bsky.social
So excited to share the weekend w @riaadams.bsky.social checking out rural communities in eastern #Wyoming. Statistics would call these places #LeftBehind, and their built environment might look like that too. But we found many local initiatives *building* community. More to come 🤎💛
