Watched this yesterday. Great directing by Bigelow. Super cast. Tight, well-written screenplay, not as difficult to follow as some critics claim. Main takeaway: Reminder that the final decision in a Defcon 1 scenario would be in TFG's hands. Frightening. #TrumpHasTheNuclearCodes

This an example of righteous indignation.
Shapiro: He rose to some prominence by writing a book about growing up in Appalachia, where there are a whole lot of people who get SNAP. He made millions of dollars off telling their stories, and then he turned his damn back on those very people he likes to write about and claim as his own.

They use this cliched refrain because they still think it instills fear in people. Most of us say good riddance, if it is even true. And if the 385,000 millionaires who live there move that's 4.5% of the population. And since most of them aren't paying squat in taxes what does it matter?

These nefarious, greedy SOB's. It's outrageous that even to fulfill your civic duty to file a return you have to pay some corporation because they donated to TFG's inauguration. This broken system, that's breaking the backs of working class people, needs nothing less than radical change.
Like any iconic photograph, it goes beyond the image to encapsulate so much about the man and his administration. It's eerily accurate and truthful.
This is officially one of the strangest pictures in American history, and I do not doubt that it will be considered iconic a hundred years from now.

Like any iconic photograph, it goes beyond the image to encapsulate so much about the man and his administration. It's eerily accurate and truthful.

From the USDA: "The USDA estimates the average wholesale price for frozen whole hen turkeys will be $1.32 per pound in 2025, which is a 40% increase from 2024's average of $0.94 per pound. Some estimates place the wholesale price even higher, at $1.71 per pound."
Like shoppers aren't going to notice that this is a blatant lie. He must think we're as stupid as he is.
