To be clear, Netanyahu is not Israel's president – the president who met Starmer is Isaac Herzog.
Your post is misleading.

"defending his life"
By shooting the driver dead, he caused the car (now uncontrolled) to speed up and eventually crash.
Make it make sense!
January 9, 2026 at 1:00 AM
Notice how the car *speeds up* right when the first shot is fired.
The ICE agent actually made it much *more* likely that he'd get run over, and the car becomes completely out of control.

Yeah, but name one positive contribution that Trump has made?

(Like seriously, the ban covers mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, but not Taiwan. It's almost as if Taiwan isn't part of China…)
January 7, 2026 at 7:07 AM
"Beijing banned two Taiwanese ministers from entering China"

Which is awkward given that China claims that where they live is part of China.

If this is the case, then the whole hemisphere should be allowed to vote in US elections.

The Korean war was at least worth fighting: it rescued South Korea from the awful dictatorship of North Korea, following North Korea's unilateral invasion of 1950.
(It also had UN approval at the time.)

Any US soldiers in Taiwan/ROC were invited there by the Taiwanese government. No reason for them to leave.
January 2, 2026 at 3:50 PM
It also misses the fact that China definitely does want Taiwan, and yet it hasn't managed to take it.
January 2, 2026 at 4:55 AM
The US doesn't have any military bases in Taiwan...
January 1, 2026 at 5:44 AM
If they really valued reunification over all else, that's clearly what they would do.
January 1, 2026 at 5:30 AM
Because contrary to what Xi Jingping says, Taiwan is not the property of the People's Republic of China, and never has been.
December 31, 2025 at 8:42 PM
In terms of armed forces though, Taiwan and China are much closer.
Taiwan's total active and reserve forces have ~1.8 million personnel.
China's have ~2.5 million.

(According to Wikipedia)

Well, the Supreme Court ruled it legal for the president to commit crimes, so it's hard to say…

This comes shortly after Netanyahu's blaming of the Bondi Beach shooting on the recognition of the State of Palestine.

Clearly Trump didn't want to be outdone.
December 15, 2025 at 3:47 PM
Somehow this is still a better response than Netanyahu's response to the Bondi Beach shooting...
December 14, 2025 at 6:14 PM
I'm assuming they did, and that's why it's in the paper!

There was actually a Quincy episode later that same year where someone committed a murder using a car, but made it look like a drink-driving accident.

In the UK, typical baseline insurance is "3rd-party, fire and theft".
So you're covered if someone else steals your car, but you avoid overpaying as long as you make sure not to cause an accident yourself.
December 13, 2025 at 12:31 AM
True, the treatment costs in the UK would usually be £0.

(Though it will still need to cover other injury-related costs, if any.)
December 12, 2025 at 11:38 PM
In the UK, speeding offences are mostly automated, with speed cameras and fines that arrive through the mail.

It's easily solvable if there were a will to do so.
December 12, 2025 at 11:34 PM
And yet the UK has cheaper insurance already.
Clearly something needs fixing in California.
