I think of the first line in a story as a fish hook. You set that in a reader’s eyeballs and you can reel them in for the rest of the story. Metaphorically, of course.

For me, writing is hashing out the idea mentally and only then putting finger to key. It only looks like I’m watching tv.

Get up to date on your vaccinations while you still can.
If you’re middle aged you will need Tdap, MMR, and the Shingles vacc, and don’t forget to get the most recent Covid vacc too. Tdap and MMR are fine, Shingles will knock you on your ass for days, and don’t forget to take some diphenhydramine (Benadryl etc) before your Covid shot for better recovery
