Crap specimen. Actual field #paleontologist & I've collected/ found well over a few dozen #Triceratops specimens in my career (juveniles/sub-adults etc). Work at MOR where we have about 200 specimens. TONS of juveniles. That is NOT a juvenile skull. Lots of sculpted material. Take a UV light to it!

Birmingham is built on the Triassic and our main logo for this year's conference features a Triassic reptile, a rhynchosaur, first described by Richard Owen in 1842 from Shropshire, just west of Birmingham.

We will be running two Triassic field trips this year, although both are now sold out

Such a pleasure meeting the community of Elgol last night. I was invited to talk about the palaeontology fieldwork taking place here, and the story of the Elgol Dinosaur. People brought beach finds to share and identify, and we discussed ways to put local discoveries on display.
