It'd be more impressive without the half billion subsidy of a private sports facility.

Not if Lansdowne 2.0 can help it. He won't be able to avoid confronting the fact that people just don't think that kind of money for that sort of thing should have been the city's top priority these last 3 years.

A lot of people in this administration should not make any plans to ever step outside US borders.

What is the basis at law for this seizure?

@timtierney.ca penny wise and pound foolish is always a very bad idea. Unfunded services cause more serious problems that don’t always stay in someone else’s ward.

Indoctrination camps conveying the government’s official viewpoint and ensuring the citizenry adopt it from youth.

The good thing, is that they lack the capability to bring it about. With doge having gutted the state department, there aren’t enough experts on other countries left in their government to assert the dominance they imagine themselves to have.

They can investigate and interview all they want. Article 94 is clear, and there's not a court in the land that would give Trump or Hegseth the authoritarian conviction they'd like.

The problem is that one of the countries we need to have a defense against is the US itself: and if they cut off software updates under ITAR, the F35 is a grounded brick within months.

They can't do that to the Gripen.
