It would help of the CHI D looked up 'how to tackle'

a *lot* of that was, I think, reaction to Jayden's stellar rookie season and even Maye looked good. Caleb was rougher overall and there was also some backlash to the whole 'generational talent' thing. Can't give up on guys in year 1 though, that's just asinine

He did/does. Players usually do, even when they shouldn't.

Because he's been nursing a knee injury since about October. Consider what people would say if they played him and he aggravated the knee enough to keep him out for half of next season. "Why did they play him?" etc. As for them tanking... please. They're not wining with or without him.

Now to just fire the AD and everyone else there. Dirty program.

One thing I appreciate about your sharing here is that you look at things like this. I wish more folks who ran models would do post hoc analysis - what did their model predict, how did it do?
December 26, 2025 at 9:03 PM
interesting. How do you account for something like Purdy being out for weeks, i.e. a significant injurty to a key position, vs overall games lost. After all a LB being out 4 weeks is probably less of an impact than a QB, LT etc
December 26, 2025 at 9:03 PM
That phenomenon is why i can't take sims and projections too seriously, especially early in the season or preseason. Far too many games turn on a relative handful of plays and over a season, injuries.

Oh no. His stuff is amazing, especially his short fiction.

OR... DK can just ignore the guy and go nowhere near him. It's not like the fans are right behind the bench
December 22, 2025 at 11:17 PM
Ah, much different, yeah
December 22, 2025 at 1:48 AM
So.... how do you know the chart it gave you is actually correct? Most LLMs can hallucinate very convincing things like that
December 21, 2025 at 10:39 PM
2 first this year plus (if they want) 27 and 28 firsts. Plus second round picks. I mean there's a limit but....
