That would represent another significant jump from this year’s $279.2 million cap number, and nearly $100M than the $208.2M cap in 2022.

The Darnold optics aren't great (still think that decision was the right process) and that's going to be what some people fixate on, but Vikings are also one of the oldest teams in the league that have needed to stack the roster with free agent signings to make up for a lack of hits in the draft.

If I know anything about Jim Schwartz, he seems like the kind of dude who would be super chill with being passed over for the head coaching job and being asked to stay on as defensive coordinator.
How could the Browns have possibly seen him being pissed about this process coming?

I think I still have a higher opinion of Joe Brady than most do, but to fire Sean McDermott and then promote both the general manager and offensive coordinator is quite a place to end up
