I've been thinking about this. Part of what makes organizing in the US so hard is this: we don't have a Belgrade. We don't have a Paris or a Cairo or an Istanbul or a Seoul. We are economically, culturally + geographically spread out; there is no 1 cultural/economic/political capital to shut down
