Why are democracies retreating? Prior to 1980, personal wealth and political power was INCREASING for the mid/lower percentiles. Then tax breaks for the rich launched "trickle-down Reaganomics".

Do service providers deliberately make SIM cards and eSIMs difficult to register, and stay registered? It can't be technically difficult, because exorbitant roaming charges can be added without ANY user effort.

Either it's all for show, feeding the base, or these heads are being set up to serve a purpose.

A Government reno can take years, (dismantle, rebuild). So the initial heads must be lightning rods for blame, a fire-able meatwave.
