Wealth-inequality can eat spending (velocity of money), kill journalism, polarize politics and turn democracy fascist. But, if dumbed down masses are more oligarch-supportive, anti-journalism may even seem logical in some countries.

"Nice" people in politics often look like worms trying to stand up in a tsunami. "Nice" means balanced, Right is no less necessary than Left. If worms Evolved to stand up due to Evolutionary pressures, perhaps there are ways the less advantaged can gain wealth, without disincentivizing producers?

So, should inherited head-starts be constrained? Should progressive taxation penalize the wealthy? Should regulations constrain emerging business models? Or should governments do less wealth-redistribution?

The 3-accesses of Democracy are: truth (not propoganda), agency (all vote, each as an equal), and fairness (equitable opportunity for upward mobility -- aka personal achievement). Wealth inequality undermines all of these.

Power corrupts and the mighty have the furthest to fall, so rich oligarchs can often put their own interests above their country's. Meanwhile, corporations are legally-psychopathic, valuing profit above cuddliness, and resources tend to be mercilessly exploited.

There's no "persistent" Playback Speed Control for Android. YouTube resets to 1x speed, to placate advertisers.

In Windows, a browser extension replaces the default player, to allow persistent speed default, ad auto-skip, privacy...

For android, we still await a third party solution.
