I would like to be a writer, the more I write and the more I learn about writing, the more I realize Idk how to write. I've been reading books about character arcs, themes, scene/act structures and how to fit all those together coherently. But it's hard because I don't know my own blindspots.

Not to be a wide-eyed naïf about such things but... am I right in thinking that they levelled an entire building to get to one guy and *that* is not controversial to anyone in the American media or political class, only that this information was recklessly shared in an unsecured chat?

This is Oligarchy. The three richest men in the world have become $196 BILLION richer since Donald Trump was elected.

$196 billion for three men in 99 days.

Meanwhile, 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

Opinion | Marco Rubio’s new undersecretary is extreme even by MAGA standards
The Rubio-led State Department was supposed to represent a “moderate” side of MAGA. Darren Beattie's appointment makes a mockery of that notion.

President Trump campaigned on lowering costs. But he’s letting billionaire Elon Musk and Project 2025 Architect Russ Vought kill the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

If they succeed, CEOs on Wall Street will once again be free to cheat you out of your savings.

This is not just a musing from a dude with some various ideas. The next step is to hollow out the judiciary and also not follow their rulings, which have been against Musk’s efforts. This is a very obvious coup, for those not paying attention.

Vought is giving big banks and giant corporations the green light to scam families.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has returned over $21 billion to families cheated by Wall Street. Republicans have failed to gut it in Congress and in the courts. They will fail again.
