I can draw anything. I can make characters as abstract or grounded as I please. I can put them in peril or paradise at the flick of a wrist and the wisp of a whim. I can tear them to shreds and they'll be fine because I decide they're fine. Because it's all fake. You are trying to chain daydreams

I guess I disappeared again. It's hard to have the energy to be on social media right now with everything going on tbh, so I'm going to try to focus on art more privately for a couple of months and then hopefully have some fun things to share after that

It took several hours and getting sent to the back of a 4 mil+ queue multiple times because of site errors but I managed to grab a preorder for the White Flare/Black Bolt boxes! ;_;
Incredibly frustrating experience that I never want to do again, the only reason I didn't give up is for love of gen 5

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you

I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy Shadow on the night of Feb 18. He was the most loving and gentle cat I've ever met, and I treasured every minute of the 13 1/2 years we shared together. He always had to be right by my side. My heart is completely shattered by the loss, but I'll love him forever.

sometimes I think about the microeconomy of commissions and get emotional if only for the fact there are many artists who are able to make a living based on the interest and good will of fellow working class folks who want to indulge in art. I hold onto that when I start to despair.
