I'm proud of those organizing transnational solidarity efforts like this—GardaWorld's involvement with ICE also comes alongside their use to police students on university campuses in Canada. (I'm also scared and angry!!!)

There have been anti-ICE protests for a few weeks, fwiw! Most downtown. This is the first targeting Garda's headquarters (afaik), and the first to receive such a violent response from cops (seeing ppl post photos + videos of being soaked with teargas/pepper spray/similar after being hit by the SPVM)

There is zero way to make it easier to denaturalize one group of people who you might dislike vs one group you might like (or like more). We can hold people accountable in other ways than sharpening the border, c'mon.
