Shoutouts to Honkai Impact having to implement a new chooseable-gender character for its Part 2, not letting you pick until after the first cutscene with the female version, letting you change at any time, and then an actual part of the story ends up with the male one deleted. With an upset message.
![Error Report on Creating Player 2 in the Dreamseeker System - Dr. Ajita
Dear friend (or not), if you're reading this error report, it means you're trying to create a new Player 2 account in the system.
The system version number is now 97230.2 and one Player 2 account is supported.
Just to clarify things, it's not a bug in my code (my code is always bug-free). Rather, the issue arises from insufficient RAM of the quantum nueral network. Should you create more than one Player 2 accoutn, the RAM overflow will disable the system.
The system was designed to support only login with the female role, i.e. Player 1, for obvious reasons, that the intended user for the Dreamseeker system, [REDACTED], is female.
However, in last week's devs review, [REDACTED] demanded the inclusion of a new gender to the accelerate the neural network training, hence the Player 2 feature beta. (If I have to say, anyone who tries to throw new demands at me midway through the development should be tossed to the surface of the sun).
On the current beta, trying to create a new Player 2 account will result in irreversible memory overflow and disable the system.
As for the official release of the feature, you need to wait for me to gather more silicon for memory chips before I can give you an exact date.
Anyway, if the error has occurred, you need to delete all existing Player 2 account modules to free up RAM if you still want to access to the system.

There is something deeply cursed about this being the launcher right now.
Aside from the inherent cursed nature the art's nice as per usual.

My other gacha game of choice I imagine plays well on a pad is Reverse: 1999 which is more Visual-Novel-like presented but it's got a cool multicultural cast (often speaking their own languages), gorgeous art, and a lot of trauma for everyone. But is also willing to weird and goofy at times.

Another shooty cockpit-view centric experience but definitely going for a space trucker vibe is Rebel Galaxy Outlaw. Not quite as good mouse controls as Everspace 2 though (pad controls are very good still). Does have some of the best glass cracks in games. The light catches real well on them.

Reminds me it is funny Reverse 1999 is big on having the right diacritcs in character names but they only have that capacity in the usual dialogue boxes and not in the nameplates or anywhere else so those don't have any.

You couldn't even get it as a wallpaper from their own site! (It is basically a movie poster alignment though).

I don't really want to effectively do the marketing for an inherently exploitative business model but also there are artists *at work* in Reverse: 1999.
So I usually end thinking about their art a lot.
Pretty sure the game's an excuse for history nerds and artists to go wild.
