Happy January! Here's Mabel the #cat siting on the Dalles Lock & Dam on the Columbia River in Oregon.

The Dalles Lock & Dam is one of the largest hydropower dams in the United States. It was built in 1957 and is operated by the Portland District, US Army Corps of Engineers.

This is a few days old, but Texas Senate Committee on #Water, Agriculture, and Rural Affairs released their interim report. Looks like supporting new water supplies may be a legislative priority in the 89th. senate.texas.gov/cmtes/88/c70...
