I'll agree that it doesn't flow. But they didn't want Outlaws, and it is better than staying Utah Hockey Club.
I'll be honest, Venom would have been a sick name for a club (and tie into Utah being the Beehive state).

They aren't a continuation of the Arizona Coyotes. They are a completely new franchise, meaning no history before 2024. They acquired their assets from a Deactivated team, much like the Ravens bought out the Browns assets back in the 90's.
