I hope she does well. Every time I see someone promising running against an unpopular GOP senator it seems the GOP always wins despite the opposition being well funded. Hopefully this time will be different

Newsom is not anywhere near being a Republican. Geesh. He get blasted by the right for being a leftist progressive and from the left as being a right wing GOP. You’re entitled to your opinion of course but it would be helpful if it were based on facts.

Refusing to endorse does not make him Islamaphobic. Goldman has been a steady voice for the rule of law and his constituents. The days of purity tests are over.

I think that is the point everyone misses. Back in the day Congress was a check on Executive power and willing to confront corrupt activities of President That is not the world we live in now. GOP is complicit if not outright supportive.
