Yesterday I said a society *requiring* you to own a car makes you less free than a society with options for biking, walking, & transit.
Lots of people have shouted at me that this could never work in rural areas, and that they have to drive long distances for everything.

My hackles go up when I hear people say to get out of your comfort zone, make phone calls, etc., to legislators even if you’re uncomfortable. Easy for them to say when they’re neurotypical and not otherwise disabled.
